We are delighted to announce that we have just launched a Magento 2 new website for leading outdoors lifestyle brand, Osprey Europe.
Previously on Magento 1, and in light of the imminent end of support for the platform in June this year, Osprey decided the time was right to make the move to Magento 2 with the help of Team Pinpoint!
Initially focusing on the UK site, an additional 17 geographies have also been put live and are fully transactional in their own languages and currencies.
In addition to successfully migrating them over to the new platform, we have implemented a series of new features and functionalities to improve user experience and help Osprey Europe drive more sales directly through their website. A new store locator, improved site search, and a streamlined checkout process will all aid Osprey in achieving this objective.
The whole project was pushed live remotely, which was quite the feat for the team. In addition to the Magento 2 migration, 33 store-views have been supported thanks to an SEO Migration piece from our sister agency, WMG.
This is just the first phase of the project, with further phases rolling out improvements across Osprey’s entire digital estate already underway.
