Iconic Watches

We began working with Iconic Watches in 2013, after they approached us regarding our Google penalty recovery service, as they had been trying to overcome the issues for some time. The manual penalty had resulted in their organic search visibility taking a big hit, which was impacting their online performance and their ability to reach targets. The penalty was a result of their poor link profile.

After 3-6 months of disavowing and removing links (around 20,000 in total), we removed their manual penalty and helped them to fully recover from the issues. After this project, we started development work on their Magento store, which they’d launched a few years before alongside a larger development agency. We later took the Magento store over and started working a lot closer together, with the intention of helping them grow and streamline their online operations. This included building a bespoke ERP and CRM system, along with automated workflows for triggered emails and various front end enhancements.

We now work in very close partnership with Iconic Watches and they treat us as an extension of their ecommerce team – helping to provide strategic guidance and managed services with a sole objective to increase online revenues.

In 2015 we redesigned the Iconic Watches, which had a really positive impact on their online trade. Conversion rates and average order values have increased significantly and they’re continuing to grow rapidly as a result of providing a much better overall customer experience. As part of the project, we completely redesigned all of their page templates and focused a lot more on rich media, showcasing the right information and core user journeys, most of which came out of the comprehensive discovery phase we undertook initially.
